Who am I?
I am Vasile Mutu, I am a Tour Leader, registered on the Tour Leader Regional Register of the Sicilian Region, for English, French, Russian and Italian languages, card n. 564
I live in Sicily for more than twenty years. I am a
plastic artist. But I am also a translator. I have taught artistic
subjects and foreign languages. I studied, I published articles, I
organized conferences on cultural heritage of Sicily and guided tourist
groups and individuals through Sicily.
Born in the former USSR (1954) Faculty of Economics in Chisinau (1974),
stage and frequency of doctorate at the Academy of Sciences in
Novosibirsk (1975 – 1982). I lived in Bucharest (Romania) between 1982
and 1992, where I studied fine art.
In Italy since 1992. The owner of an art studio. I produce works of
pictorial art,
stained
glass, ceramics and sacred art.
Listed in the Register of Translators and Interpreters in the Court of
Catania for Russian and Romanian languages. I also offer translator and
interpreter services for public and private clients.
Teacher on contract (1998-1999 with the University of Catania
for Russian
language (sectoral scientific area languages) in Diploma for translators
and interpreters.
Russian language teacher on contract (moving languages, applied linguistics and
communication strategies) (2007), University of Catania (SISSIS
courses).
Teacher on contract on Russian Language and Linguistics at the Faculty of
Philosophy and Letters, University of Palermo (2009-2010).
